HOW TO ENTER

Details on what is expected from each entry.

Individual students or student teams can submit their ideas and solutions between May 1, 2022-June 15, 2022.

There is no cost to submit an idea to the challenge.

The entries should be submitted in essay form. Students will submit 1-3 page essays. Winning entries will examine their problem from various dimensions. They will address the significance of the issue, historic attempts at remedies, and currently proposed solutions, which could include policy changes, technology advancement, and industry action.

Winning entries will ideally advance ideas that protect or improve the environment while maintaining affordable, reliable, and resilient energy delivery to New York State residents.
